Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York, New York U.S.A. is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of tough, yet vulnerable characters. Linney grew up in an actor's family, like her father, Romulus Linney plays a writer. Linney graduated at Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated in the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City, 1990. The actress began performing in the city on Broadway and was awarded awards for her performances in roles like Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
